Summer Reading Lists
Welcome to the Children’s Room
Greeting from all of us in the Children’s Room, at The South Orange Public Library , we are located in the heart of South Orange Village.
The Children’s Room at SOPL has a reputation for being one of the friendliest places in town. And that tradition will continue now more than ever. We are the same friendly staff as we follow the protocols in place, that face coverings must be worn at all times, that includes patrons and staff. The room will be kept to a limited capacity and furniture arranged to maintain social distancing.
We have an ongoing commitment to meet the needs of the community especially now and in the coming months. We are available to help with materials for homework, school projects, and please feel free to ask for book suggestions from our very knowledgeable staff. We encourage you to let us share our skills with you, no question too big or too small!
A particular point of pride in the Children’s Room is our goal to get to know the families in the community and greet everyone by name.
So please stop by, to browse, choose titles, say hello to the fish.
