Residents of four local towns–East Orange, Irvington, Maplewood, and South Orange–will come together for a discussion of The 1619 Project by Nicole Hannah Jones. The event is part of the Digital Citizenry Project. On Oct. 13, the Digital Citizenry Project, funded by a grant from the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, will host a 4 Towns/1 Book discussion of The 1619 Project by Nicole Hannah Jones. Residents of four local towns–East Orange, Irvington, Maplewood, and South Orange–will come together for the discussion, which will both live, in Jubilee Auditorium, and virtual, in Zoom.
